Getting to and from Ribfest
Canada's Largest Ribfest makes for a fun time for the whole family. The event's organizers have working with the city and other partners to make it easy for you and your family to get to and from Spencer Smith Park. Below is information about where you can access the shuttles and public transit to make your trek to the park easy and enjoyable.
Shuttle Services
Why drive when you can shuttle?
Take the Canada's Largest Ribfest Shuttle from the south section of the Mapleview Mall parking lot to the Downtown Bus Terminal at 430 John St. (one block east of Brant Street).
Shuttle bus service is through the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (JBMH Auxiliary) and will be available at Mapleview Mall throughout Labour Day Weekend. Parking is free, compliments of Mapleview Mall. The cost is $2 per person for a round trip, with proceeds going to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Shuttle operating hours are as follows:
The shuttle service will be available throughout the event commencing 30 minutes prior to opening.
You can find the shuttle bus at the south end of Mapleview Mall (look for the JBMH Auxiliary tent). After attending Canada's Largest Ribfest, the shuttle will pick you up at the Downtown Bus Terminal at 430 John St. (one block east of Brant Street).
- Friday, September 3rd - 11:00 a.m. to Midnight
- Saturday, September 4th - 10:00 a.m. to Midnight
- Sunday, September 5th - 10:00 a.m. to Midnight*
- Monday, September 6th - 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.**
Regular Fixed Route Transit Service Users Please Note:
- Extended transit service is available on Saturday, September 4th, to accommodate the Ribfest Fireworks Display, which takes place Friday night at 11:00 p.m. LAST BUSES (Routes 2 North, 3 North, and 10 West), will leave the downtown transit terminal (located at 430 John St.) at 12:00 Midnight. Rick Goldring's 4th Annual Ward 5 Ribfest Express
For the fourth year consecutive year, Ward 5 Councillor Rick Goldring is funding a bus to Ribfest on the Sunday of Labour Day weekend (Sept 5). You are encouraged you to leave your car at home, avoid the busy parking lots and ride the bus for free! The schedule will remain the same as last year and is as follows:
