Old Recycling
We are pleased to let you know that a Recycling/Organics Collection Program is once again in place this year. We would like to personally thank Barbara Frensch and her community volunteers for their continued support and efforts in making this a waste responsible event.
PLEASE SUPPORT RECYCLING by bringing all your waste TO THE RECYCLING TENTS
Please note, organics includes all food and paper waste.
In 2004 (the pilot year), a little over 5 tonnes were diverted from the landfill and last year volunteers collected close to 10 tonnes of recyclables and organics. Furthermore, in 2005 for the first time 4 tonnes of cooking grease was recycled and will be recycled again this year.
