Memphis BBQ

Created by the Rombos family, we have been cooking southern smoked bbq for over 13 years now. In 1994 we created the Purple Pig Famous Smokehouse. One of the original smokehouses in Canada, we worked alongside with friends from Oklahoma to create an authentic bbq tradition right here in Canada.

Over the past 8 years, our ownership team has competed in over 70 BBQ Cook-Offs. During this time, we have won over 40 awards for best ribs, sauce and chicken. Added to the list of achievements are awards for top restaurants across Ontario.

In 2006 we proudly opened Memphis BBQ & Wicked Wings, a smaller more intimate location, with major emphasis on our take-out. After one year we are excited to say all is great! To date we have been reviewed by numerous outlets and publications. In January of 2007 we were highlighted as one of the top take-out businesses in the Greater Toronto area by Toronto Life Magazine.
